Hello! I’m Lauren—a book coach, editor, and writer based in the Pacific Northwest. I work with nonfiction authors who are writing memoir, self-help, and leadership books—and who want to find their voice and finally get their book written.

I’ve spent over a decade working in publishing and developmental editing. I’ve partnered with first-time authors, spiritual thinkers, and CEOs, guiding everything from early-stage outlines to final drafts. I’ve also worked behind the scenes as a ghostwriter, and I know what it takes to shape complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives.

My background is rooted in storytelling. I studied journalism at Point Loma Nazarene University and later earned a Certificate in Theological Studies from the University of Oxford. I’m especially interested in helping people express not just what they know, but who they are.

Over the years, my work has taken many forms: book coaching, podcasting, narrative editing, manuscript consulting, content strategy, and writing for business leaders. At the core of it all, I’m passionate about helping people say what they mean—and create work that reflects the depth of their thinking.

I bring a mix of intuitive listening and strategic thinking to every project. Whether you need guidance through the writing process or help shaping a messy draft into something powerful, I’m here to walk alongside you.

Existing clients say that working with me feels spiritual, straight-up, strategic, and wise.
